Greetings!
Computer Society of India is conducting a National Level School Students’ Software Competition every year for selection of two teams for the SEARCC International Schools’ Software Competition. The winners will represent the country in the SEARCC International Schools’ Software Competition.
Circulars are being sent to various schools across the country inviting entries of team of three students under the age of 18 years as on 1st January 2014. The First Level Regional Competition will be held on Sunday the 27th July 2014 at 19 centres across the country. More centres can be added as required. About 10 teams will be short-listed from the first level participants. These 10 teams will take part in the Final Competition to be held on Sunday the 31st August 2014 at Chennai and the top two teams will represent India at the SEARCC International Schools’ Software competition.
The details of the competition and the Registration form are available at http://www.csi-india.org/web/education-directorate/searcc1 . We request all CSI members to give wide publicity in your region and get maximum participation from the best students of top schools all over India. CSI members are requested to communicate to all schools in your town, the importance of quality training for efficient program writing for International Competition. It is hoped that the spirit of competition will motivate a large number of schools to register for the Competition.
